Couch 2 5K

I started the Couch to 5K program last week... and in the first week you walk five minutes; run 1 minute; walk for 1.5 minutes then run 1 minute and repeat the walk 1.5 run 1 minute for 20 minutes total. I never thought that I could run for the 8 minutes that the first week calls for.... although the 8 minutes aren't all at one time... I still never thought I could do it! Not only did I do it the first day, I have stayed on track with this training for two full weeks now. I have one day left in week two (But for week two I repeated week one), and I am looking forward to the next step. Tomorrow I will actually start the week two training (although it will be my week three. I am very excited! This has actually been fun so far and with all the cool apps I have on my iPhone, it makes it fun and easy to challenge yourself!
